ELEM INCINERATE ABSORPTION BLAZE FERRY CAPSIZE SHOCKWAVE TRANSPORT WHIRLWIND STEPPINGSTONE BARRICADE NOAREA (1170)

Syntax: elem [<command>]

Once bound, elementals can perform "utility" functions for a conjurer. Each
type of elemental has a separate set of skills it can perform (described
briefly below). The ELEM command without arguments displays a list of skills
available to a bound elemental. The ELEM command followed by a utility
function (eg. "elem incinerate" for a fire elemental) invokes the elemental's
utility function. When performing these functions, elementals are
weakened and will return to their home planes once drained by the effort.

The utility functions consist of:

INCINERATE - A fire elemental can release an explosive blast of flames
in an attempt to ignite everything around it.

ABSORPTION - The fire elemental absorbs the heat of its surroundings to
make a comfortable environment for the binder.

BLAZE - The converse of ABSORPTION, the fire elemental burns hotter to
provide heat for its binder in cold environments.

FERRY - A water elemental can ferry its binder across bodies of water
very rapidly.

CAPSIZE - A water elemental can cause surface water to batter boats/ships,
possibly destroying them.

SHOCKWAVE - An air elemental can quickly blast everything surrounding it
with a wave of air.

TRANSPORT - An air elemental lifts its binder into the air, protecting
him from enemies. Movement is slow and physical combat impossible.

WHIRLWIND - An air elemental can create a turbulent barrier against others.

STEPPINGSTONE - An earth elemental can shift shape into a column of stones,
allowing the binder and his party to scale it into the air.

BARRICADE - An irreversible procedure, an earth elemental reshapes to block
a doorway. Cannot be done outdoors.

You can also order your elemental to not use area affects, via the
'elem noarea' command. (note: This command is irreversible)
