SHAPESHIFTER SHAPESHIFTERS (1195)
The Shapeshifter is a sorcerer who specializes in the alteration of their
own body. Shapeshifters begin by learning how to temporarily transform
parts of their body into more useful things, such as claws or powerful
bat-like ears. As they progress, Shapeshifters will learn to shift shapes
completely, taking on the form of powerful animals, birds, and
sea-creatures. While in these temporary FORMS, the Shapeshifter will take
on the physical characteristics (strength, speed, etc.) of their those
forms, and can also ENLIVEN some of their more basic spells to aid them.
Forms bring with them special skills and abilities, but also prohibit most
forms of communication (like SAY) and exhaust mana to maintain them.
Which forms are available to a Shapeshifter will depend on their major and
minor SHAPE FOCI, which they must choose before using the shapeshift spell.
